Jan Christensen
Jan Christensen (født i København, 1977) er en norsk billedkunstner med internasjonal utstillingsvirksomhet og kuratorpraksis siden 2001, med bakgrunn fra Statens Håndverks- og Kunstindustriskole/KHIO (1997-2000). Han bor og arbeider i Oslo og Berlin.
Som kunstner har han hatt separatutstillinger ved institusjoner som Kunsthaus Baselland, Basel; Artsonje Art Center, Seoul; Stenersenmuseet (Munchmuseet), Oslo; Galleri F15, Jeløya; Sørlandets Kunstmuseum, Kristiansand; Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst (S.M.A.K.), Ghent; Viborg Kunsthall, Viborg (sammen med Marius Dahl); Kubus Lenbachhaus i München i tillegg til en rekke private gallerier, og residencyopphold over hele verden. Hans arbeider finnes i flere private og offentlige samlinger internasjonalt samt Nasjonalmuseet for Kunst, Arkitektur og Design og Astrup Fearnley Museet i Oslo. Fra 2012 har han gjennomført mange kunstprosjekter i offentlig sammenheng – flere av disse sammen med kunstneren Marius Dahl.
