Patrick Huse - Det konseptuelle som tradisjon

Patrick Huse har i en årrekke arbeidet i skjæringspunktet mellom Kunst og antropologi. For Huse er det ikke snakk om å arbeide med en strukturell endring av hvordan kunst skal fremstå. Patrick Huses arbeider med kompliserte spørsmål om konseptkunst kan danne tradisjon sett i lys av et historisk perspektiv. Deler av hans kunstneriske arbeid går mer og mer i retning av et konseptuelt bearbeidet uttrykk.

Som grafiker arbeider han i dag med photogravure og tresnitt. Tresnitt har landskap og landskapstolkning som omdreiningspunkt.

Patrick Huse - utstillinger og samlinger

I den siste 20 årsperioden har han i hovedsak arbeidet med større museumsutstillinger i Canada, USA, Norge, Sverige, Finland, Island og Russland. Patrick Huse er representert i samlingene til Nasjonalmuseet for kunst, Lillehammer kunstmuseum, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Reykjavik Art Museum-Island og Pori Art Museum-Finland og en rekke private samlinger. I tillegg har han produsert filmer og utgitt en rekke bøker.
